This company is a joint venture established by HeidelbergCement Group and Yuexiu Group managing 3 cement plants with yearly cement production of 5 Mio tons. Purchase Dept. is purchasing all fuel, raw materials, equipment & spare parts and consumables needed for its 3 subordinate plants with purchasing turnover of 1.2 Bio RMB/a.
Major Works:
1 Translate all the purchasing contracts, including commercial terms and technical attachments;
2 Interpret on all meetings related to purchasing (weekly meetings, special conferences);
3 Go on business trip with Purchasing Manager (Belgium) and interpret for him, subjects covering markets of raw materials & fuel, their performances, production areas, equipments manufacturers, quality guarantee, equipments performance, working principles, etc.
4 Make in EXCEL purchasing monthly reports, annual reports, etc.;
5 Establish standard purchase contract (bilingual) based on daily used procurement contracts, with the support of Legal Office;
6 Write Purchasing Dept. internal rules and regulations, Purchasing Policy (bilingual);
7 Assist Purchasing Manager’s daily work and his communication with all Chinese-speaking staff.

1 Interpretation for Heidelberg Technical Experts at site (project construction, quarry mining, cement process, etc);
2 Visiting Indocement (around Dec. 2004) with staff of the new cement plant for technical communication; being in charge of interpretation and communication with Indonesian colleagues;
3 Working as secretary in project team in charge of filing, cars mgt, sending out invitation letter and renewal of visa for foreign visitors.
