1.       Typesetting Dept: we have an independent typesetting department. All of our typesetters are proficient in operating with the following software to make typesetting for ordinary file formats: MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel, FrameMaker, PageMaker, InDesign, QuarkXpress, Illustrator, Freehand, CorelDraw, and Acrobat reader.

2.       Typesetting of the first draft: except the professional typesetting staff, all translators in our company are also required to have a good working knowledge of typesetting requirements. We organize typesetting training on a regular basis. Moreover, we send the typesetting format requirements while assigning translation tasks to them as well. This guarantees that the format of first drafts is basically the same as customers’ original texts, and thus saves time at the typesetting department.

3.       Page-to-page typesetting: for materials that are supposed to be used indefinitely, such as equipment manuals, tender proposals and website pages, we usually provide page-to-page translations which make it easier for customers to check, read, amend and utilize.
