I. Technical parameters

II. Structure and operation principle
Floaters inside the conduit on lower part of the magnetic flap level meter are connected with magnetic floating balls inside the main conduit on upper part. When the level changes, the floating ball drives the magnetic steel to move up and down inside the main conduit thus to bring the red and white tipping plate on the display part to flip up and down, therefore the level is shown on the panel.
III. Installation, usage and maintenance
1. The installation connect of main conduit of the magnetic flap level meter must keep vertical.
2. The magnetic flap level meter has blind areas. When initial section of the level is measured, if the level of storage bottom is insufficient to float off the floater, the indication panel will have no display, thus the blind area is generated. Amount of the blind area value essentially equals to the floater length; provided the true level is required, the blind area value should be added for the compensation. Therefore the initial level of the meter at ex-works has been transferred to the actual value instead of the zero level.
3. After the installation, move the correction magnetic steel on the indication panel to observed if red and white magnetic flip plate is flexible in flipping, and the adjustment to initial level is made. Make the adjustment so that the magnetic flip plate below the initial level appears red and that above the initial level appears white.
4. The main conduit should be flushed and impurities deposited inside the conduit be cleared nonperiodically according to the media conditions. It is to avoid the floater stuck or inflexible fluctuation thus to effect the normal operation of the meter.
5. After the magnetic flap level meter is put into service, variation of the level inside the storage tank should be smooth without sharp level ascending or descending; or else the flip plate will fail in flipping or will be in disorder (if this phenomena occurs, the correction magnetic steel can be used for re-correction).
6. Solid impurities are not allowed in the liquid medium under test in order to prevent the floater from being stuck.
7. For magnetic level meter of the length exceeding certain value (conventional type > 3m and anti-corrosive type >2m), the fixed supporting treatment should be made to the main conduit according to the site situation.
8. Connection description of level switch:
L1 (high level) (being normal open for high level on condition of no liquid), (wire color: black COM, blue NO)
L1 (low level) (being normally closed for low level on condition of low level), (wire color: black COM, brown NC)
The level switch is fixed by the anchor ear and the height can be adjusted per real situation.
