Stock Transfer refers to the process of moving stock from one area within the company such as a plant or storage Location, to another. This process can be driven by several reasons, for example, to do the stock replenishment from a Main Warehouse to an Operational unit (i.e. Sales Warehouse) for this case, due to the minimum stock level is reach, or there are unplanned demands from outside (e.g. customer, urgent cases)

The process of stock transfer with SD delivery includes the following steps:

1. Creating a stock transport order in the receiving plant 在接收库存的工厂创建库存转移令单
A sales warehouse (receiving plant) would like to order materials from Production plant (Issuing plant). The sales warehouse enters a stock transport order which enables the goods movement to be planned.
销售仓库（接收库存工厂）希望从生产工厂（发货工厂）预订货物，则在系统中输入库存转移令单，这样货物的转移就能被纳入计划。
2. Posting a delivery in the issuing plant 在发货工厂录入交货信息
Production Plant delivers the goods to the sales warehouse. Issuing plant enters a replenishment delivery in SD. The goods are then posted to the stock in transit of the receiving plant.
生产工厂将货物送交到销售仓库。发货工厂在SD系统中输入交货信息。然后货物就被记录入在途库存中。
3. Posting a goods receipt in the receiving plant 在接收货物的工厂录入收货信息
Once the goods arrive in the receiving plant, the plant posts the goods receipt for the delivery. The stock in transit is therefore reduced and the unrestricted-use stock at receiving plant is increased.
一旦货物运抵接收工厂，接收工厂则将收货信息录入系统。此后，发货工厂的库存量就相应减少，而接收货物工厂的库存量则相应增加。
The damage that occurs during transport can be handled by two ways :

1. Depending on whether to debit the issuing plant or the receiving plant with the costs of scrapping. Reporting damages can be done two ways, as follows:

Cancel the removal from storage at the issuing plant, then post the scrapping in the issuing plant

2. If the damaged bags can be claimed to the transporter, a sales order is created to issue the damage and billing to that transporter

To transfer of finished products from Production Plant to Sales Warehouse, the following departments are involved on the process.

The STO is created / requested by the Marketing department at Sales Warehouse

The Delivery documents are created based on truck scheduling by the Logistics department

The Goods issue from supplying plant refer to D/N via Scale House is posted by Online Interface Program which is under also by Logistics department and must be reviewed by Production warehouse (Production Planning Department).
